Assaulted Russian

hey hey, it's my first ever oil painting! oi, wow, cool, okay...

just wanted to do something really simple since i dont know the medium well, so I just drew a Russian prisoner at a prison of some kind.  I like learning about russian prisons, always have.  probably was just assaulted in some way, i dunno.  Ironically, the stars on his shoulders mean's in a lot of Russian prisons "i will bow to no one".  i hope you like it.  

FUN FACT: the Duga-3 (what is tattooed on his sternum) was an old Soviet early-warning radar machine used to warn the USSR if the USA was going to nuke them.  It was kind of like Conelrad, only where Conelrad was actually marketed to American people, the Duga-3 was not.  It was just a big metal system out there, somewhere, keeping russian people safe.  
much like Conelrad, the Duga-3 lasted little more than a decade.
